If you want an amazing bratwurst, this is the place to come!! Absolutely loved the food!!

In traveling full time, we like to fully experience what each destination has to offer. While staying nearby, we happened upon the town of Hermann and decided that it is a location we would add to our future travels. One place that stood out for us was the Hermann Wurst Haus. Upon entering, the smell of smoked meats teased our olfactory senses, so we had to have a taste of the offerings. Perfect timing on our part, since we were ready for a nice lunch. We ordered a brisket sandwich, a brat (sans sour kraut) with German potato salad and a couple of dark beers to compliment the food. (So sorry, I'm part German but I do not care for sour kraut...I guess I'm not normal?) Anyway, the food and beverages were outstanding! And to top that off, the restaurant staff was pleasant and very helpful, too. Thank you, Hermann Wurst Haus, for being the best!

If you’re visiting Hermann this is the place to eat. The food, service and atmosphere are great. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Potato Bratwurst on a pretzel bun. It was delicious. I look forward to trying more menu options.

Three of us went to eat and it cost about 50. Everything we got was delicious. Expect to spend around 15 a person if you get a main dish and a side

BEST dinner we had after a week in Hermann! We did do takeout and ate in our glamper; when I placed our order, the lady who took my order said, "That'll be ready in 6 minutes." I love the commitment! We had the German platter with the Best of Show brat and the Gorgonzola and Pear brat with potato salad. Excellent! Can't wait to go back on our next trip to Hermann.

Absolutely blown away by my experience at Hermann Wurst Haus! The pear and gorgonzola brat was hands-down one of the most unique and delicious sausages I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced flavors that left me wanting more. I even ended up buying some of their incredible mustard to take home, and it pairs beautifully with just about everything. But what really sealed the deal for me was their honesty and hospitality. I accidentally left my wallet outside the restaurant and didn’t even realize it until I was already on the train ride back home. I thought it was gone for good—but they mailed it back to me! Everything was intact. That level of integrity and customer care is rare these days. Great food, great people, and truly unforgettable service. Can’t recommend Hermann Wurst Haus enough!

What a gem! As soon as you walk in, the smoked meat aroma will make you hungry and you’re in the right place! The braunschweiger sandwich with German potato salad was a 10/10. We also tried a bratwurst on a pretzel bun with deviled egg potato salad, which was also a 10/10. The staff is extremely friendly and they have a shop filled with seasonings, sauces, meats and more. Although we aren’t into soda, they have an impressive selection of unique (non major brand) drinks. Herman is only 15 mins off of Highway 70 and the town is incredibly charming.

Absolutely phenomenal lunch as my wife and I were heading to KC on the back roads to try something fun. This menu item brought me right back to my childhood from my Grandma and Grandpa. The potato salad was spot on as Grandma made it along with the sauerkraut and sausages. Great recommendations from the staff along the choice of beer. We will be back.
